The Board of Directors of PalmTech comprises of four (4) members whose individual profiles are presented as follows: -
Dato (Dr)Teoh Seng Foo, Patrick - Chairman
RA(M) FCMA (UK)
Dato (Dr) Patrick Teoh, aged 50, is a professionally qualified Chartered Management Accountant, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom.
He has extensive experience in both commerce and industry, starting as an Accountant with multi-national firms such as Intel Technology and Woodward & Dickerson Inc. He later held senior management positions in Tan Chong Motors Holdings Bhd., Coopers & Lybrand and Wilson Parking.
Prior to starting Meda Group with his brothers, he was a senior management staff of Eastern Knitters, a member of the Esquel Group of Companies based in Hong Kong.
Dato Lim See Teok – Director
MBA, CA (M), ACMA
Dato Lim, aged 49, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Salcon Engineering Berhad during the year 2002. He is a qualified accountant by profession and also obtained Master of Business Administration Degree in General Management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom in 1991. His experiences include many years in General Management, Regional Marketing as well as Finance and Operations roles with international organizations and Malaysian conglomerates. He brings with him vast experience in financial and general management in areas of water engineering and agro-industries engineering.
Mr. Anthony Chew – Executive Director
AAIA
Mr. Chew, aged 49, who was working as General Manager was appointed as the Executive Director in March 2001. He is a member of the Association of International Accountants, United Kingdom. Prior to his joining in the Company, he has held senior positions in international organization, public listed companies in Indonesia as well as in Malaysia. He brings with him vast experience in financial and corporate management in the areas of plantation, property development, oil and gas, manufacturing and trading.
Dato' Clement Hii Chii Kok-Director
Mr.Clement, aged 48, was appointed to the Board on 27 January 2006 as the Group Managing Director of the company .He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the United Kingdom. He is a former journalist holding senior positions in several local newspapers, including as Chief Editor of Borneo's leading English daily,"The Borneo Post". He had also served in senior positions with management consultancy firms.He is currently also the Chief Execuitive Officer of SEG International Bhd.
